Free Training Classes Start Tonight

March 26, 2014

The Bellin Run offers a free weekly training class for runners and walkers looking to prepare for the Saturday, June 14 Bellin Run.

Starting at 6 p.m. today, Bellin Run hopefuls can join other runners and walkers for the free weekly training class at Bellin Health’s Green Bay Health & Athletic Performance Center, 1630 Commanche Ave., Green Bay (west reception area). The 12-week group training classes are designed for participants of all performance levels.

Each Wednesday at 6 p.m., the class will undergo a 5-10 minute informational session and a warm-up, followed by a run or walk. There is no commitment to attend. Participants can join as many or as few training runs/walks as they like.

Routes will start at one mile, eventually building to six miles in time for the 8 a.m. Saturday, June 14 Bellin Run.

Whether they’re considering conquering the Bellin Run for the first time or are a seasoned veteran of the 6.2-mile course, these training sessions can help all participants sharpen their training edge each week through race day.
