Why I Run the Bellin Run: Terry Willoughby, Waldo

May 24, 2013

I first ran the Bellin in 2007 at the age of 53. Since then, I now have my two daughters, one son, and three grandchildren doing it every year. We have made it a family event.

Every year I am amazed how you run this with so many runners. The route is fun with all the people urging us on.

I hope to be doing this even when I have to walk slowly instead of run.

  • I’m So excited to participate in the 37 th annual 2013 Bellin run .This run is such a great event for the city and a great fundraiser for Bellen health. Please thank George for his generosity in approving The elective   surgery for the Bellin Health CNO Laura Hieb to allow her to participate again. The nearly $100,000 cost of the surgery was very generous and kind for Bellin Health to offer her. Keep up the great work!
