Cheer for the Bellin Run Back to the Road Crew

While you’re enjoying the festivities at Astor Park on Friday, you may notice a large number of folks participating in a 1-mile walk around the park’s perimeter. Those are members of the Bellin Run’s Back to the Road Crew program.

The participants are individuals who have faced recovery and rehabilitation from surgery or a major illness and want to get “Back to the Road.”

The invitation-only event helps get orthopedic, cardiac rehab and general rehab patients active again following medical treatment.

Please make it a point to show your support and be a positive influence in their recovery!
